Pensions from II. and III. Pillar
The Pension Insurance Company pays pensions to the members of the voluntary pension funds, and the pensions based on direct payments of physical persons and the employers for their employees, also pensions to the members of the mandatory pension funds.

Raiffeisen mirovinsko dosiguravajuće društvo d.o.o. is the first and, for the moment, the only pension insurance company registered in the Republic of Croatia according to the Act on Pension Insurance Companies (OG no. 22/14 ).

The Raiffeisen Pension Insurance Company pays pensions to the members of the voluntary pension funds and also pensions to the members of the mandatory pension funds.

When he acquires the conditions for the pension, the insured person transfers his capital from the pension fund a member of which he has been until then to the pension insurance company. The insured person concludes a contract with the pension insurance company on payment of the pension in one of 2 possible forms: individual or common pension, old age or temporary, each of which can be lifelong or lifelong with guaranteed period of payment.

If a member of the mandatory fund dies before he started to use the pension, the assets saved on his personal pension account are inheritable and will belong to the legal inheritors.
